Artizan International was established in 2013 by Susie Hart MBE upon her return to the UK, following a decade of residence in Tanzania. During her time there, Susie founded the social enterprise Neema Crafts. The Neema Crafts Centre is dedicated to offering training and employment opportunities to differently-abled individuals who would otherwise rely on street begging to sustain themselves.
